
Sue Stauffacher, interviewed on this blog a while back, has a brand new series, to debut this month, called Animal Rescue Team. The first title is Gator on the Loose! followed by Special Delivery in July 2010.
Kirby Larson (interview here) co-wrote a picture book published in November titled, Nubs: The True Story of a Mutt, a Marine, and a Miracle, and guess what? It won a Christopher award this month!
Also falling into the "Better Late than Never" category, ND Wilson's third installment of the One Hundred Cupboards series, The Chestnut King came out in hardcover on January 26th.
The critique group is pretty active lately, so I'll give you that scoop, too:
Ruth McNally Barshaw is putting finishing touches on the third book of her popular Ellie McDoodle series. Best Friends Fur-Ever (Bloomsbury)will be released August third of 2010. The other two books are in paperback here.
Prolific Buffy Silverman has a book out this month called, Can an Old Dog Learn New Tricks? And Other Questions About Animals (Lerner) In September 2010, two more books, Desert Food Chains, and Grassland Food Chains, (Heinemann) will be released. Check out all her wonderful non-fiction at her website.
New York Times Best-selling author, Debbie Diesen's The Barefooted Bad-Tempered Baby Brigade (Tricycle Press) will be released on March 23rd. Yahoo!
Morris Award Finalist, Amy Huntley's The Everafter (HarperCollins), comes out in paperback this August, but really, it's worth buying in hardcover and you can do that right now!
