I've been blogging. Just not here. My critique group has started a blog of our own called, "Write Brainers." Check it out for lots of perspectives on the writing process, art, angst and occasional book reviews, too.
As for this blog, I'm going to continue it for the time being. Not sure I have enough material to fill two, and trying to decide if it's worth it to post sometimes duplicate posts on two different blogs. Seems a little redundant. Hmm.
On the writing front, I have finished draft number nine (and a half?) and am waiting to send it, after I get a thumbs up from the critique partner of the moment. Aside from that, I'm just trying to decide what to work on next. Truly, I'd like to continue writing about these same characters for a while. I already know them well, and have a ton of material from six or so years of false starts (ack!)
Perhaps I'll feel differently in a week or so. Never having really finished anything before, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to be thinking at this point. Seems weird to start something new. Before, whenever I've started a new project, it was because the old one was going so terribly I couldn't stand it anymore. This is quite different. I don't know what to do with myself, quite frankly.
It's making me anxious.
